get in there! was getting worried bout this future warfare stuff! stick to what you know Infinity Ward I say! hope its as good as 4 if not better! cant wait as WaW was a bit of a let down for me, really cant get used to it and have gone back to COD4!

No....there was never a 'takeover' from any company. Infinity Ward makes the modern warfare type versions and Treyarch makes the World War versions. They alternate between each COD. The COD after this will more than likely be made by Treyarch.Originally Posted by dodgethis23

Yay, more modern warfare. 4 never got old, I figured why wouldnt they go back to that formula. Im really looking forward to this.

It was announced publicly by Activision (known as Activision Blizzard). Definitely legit:
Earlier today, we told you about the deal Microsoft's Massive inked with Blizzard Entertainment. At an upfront hosted by Massive in downtown Manhattan, Activision Blizzard showed sequels to popular games, including a fifth Guitar Hero, a new Tony Hawk and a second Call of Duty game set in modern day.
Additionally, Activision Blizzard acknowledged the “Call of Duty” series will move forward yet again with “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ coming this fall. No details on the game were released.
