So it worth buying COD WAW?

Do you think it is worth £40, when it uses exactly the same engine as COD4?

Also the fact

1) After buying PES 2009 and 1 month before, a PSP with 20+ games, so could only afford to buy 1 more game within the next 2-3 months
2) 2nd year in my uni, doing mechanical engineering and plenty of exams!
3) Could spend it on a totally different game like: Tomb Raider Underworld

Yep it's worth buying, but maybe not just yet.

There are a few bugs like the spawning system, Leaderboards taking forever to load, and that annoying Roundhouse glitch.

The spawning system is the worst though, makes me feel like not playing it.

The graphics and gameplay are good and the controls are identical to COD4 but the bugs are the only major let down so far.

Worth the money but be prepared for a bit of frustration, until they fix them at least.

mind you, COD4 messed up my uni results slightly in the first year, damm so addictive.

also am sure cod6 will come out within 12 months rite?

Its good..once you unlock your sniper scope for your sniper rifle lol.

Dont really like any guns so far except the mosin nagant or w/e its called.

I think the co-op is outstanding, though a lot of the time i get stuck on the mission sucess screen after. My main gripes are the weapons and the way you spawn with your back to enemies that are 10 feet away. The weapons are a bitter letdown for me, smgs go off 6 feet after 2 or 3 rounds, are treyarch trying to tell me that a grown man cant hold down a 9 mil auto for 5 seconds? its ridiculous. I had the springfield with stopping power and it was taking 2 shots and sometimes 3 to down someone. If you were hit in the shoulder by a rifle round back then you didnt run on to riddle your assailant with your 9mm pistol, you were lying in a pool of piss and blood dying of bloodloss. In the army they tell you to stand more than 6 feet away from the next man on patrol cuz if they are hit by a sniper round (7.62 plus) that you could possibly be scrubbed too. I know its only a game but you shouldnt have to shoot someone twice in the head with a gewer 43 to stiff them, just because it was a semi doesn't mean it was any less powerful than a bolt action rifle, less accurate over long distances maybe but semis fired the the same round. The cod4 experience is far better, in my opinion it was a mistake going back to WW2. The reason i went for modern warfare so enthusiastically was that it was like a breath of fresh air. The multiplayer is cod4 with bad weapons and even worse bugs, im back on modern warfare. BTW singleplayer is excellent though i caned it in just over 5 hrs and there was nothing to top 'ghilled up' or 'death from above' . Check out the zombie level in 4 player co-op, you're locked in a house a la romero fighting off wave after wave of nazi undead and boarding back up windows that get ripped open by said zombies.....

I'm pasting this whenever someone mentions the spawn locations because every post counts in the petition. We need to make Treyarch realize that we're not going to put up with it.

Back on topic, the single player and zombie mode on WaW are worth the money alone. They'll keep you busy while you wait for some of the bugs to be fixed.

yeh Bullroarer, i was in a lobby room, and people were slating how bad cod5 is, and 4 of them went back to playing cod4, even when it just got released 2 days ago.

I read people comments on the ps3. and like you said, its exactly like cod4, but with crapper weapon.

I also recently splashed out on pes2009 and psp with 20+ games, and I still play cod4 more than all my other games put together lol.

Also the next cod6 game will be out in a year time, cod is raping people pockets here!

i for one, am pretty let down by it. the aiming system doesnt seem as refined as COD4 which is a huge letdown. i love how precise COD4 is.

i also think the graphics look kinda animated... :/

i will probably get up to level 65 and beat the campaign, but then im taking it to get it exchanged. i was really let down by it. but i dont hate it. i was probably expecting too much.

This game is a copy pasta of cod4 in terms of multiplayer, a single player that literally rips off cod4 cept wid crappy weapons (they have a airplane lvl, a snipe/assination lvl), and a gimmicky zombie mode. Co-Op is a plus but definitly not enough. Iwill still play this gaem, but will be returning to cod4 soon. This game basiacly will just make the wait for the tru IW cod5 easier
