M40A3 with Stopping Power

Is it just me, or is the M40 with stopping power is like only 60% 1 shot and 1 kill these days?

Am getting pretty annoyed, when I have to shoot another sniper 4-5 times to kill him. And when someone is running and you shoot them around the stomach area, they dont die.

Before it was a guarenteed 1shot, 1 kill sniper, with stopping power.

What scope are you using? The standard scope or the ACOG scope? The ACOG scope on the M40 gives it an extra 5 damage points, sometimes that's enough to make all the difference. Although, when the target is mobile the hit detection is always a little off.

I get one shot kills almost every time I have barely ever not got one shot kills.

standard scope, this has only been a problem since 3-4 weeks back, otherwise it was mainly 1 shot, 1 kill.

^ Do you know if your ping has risen or connection speed has dropped over the last 3-4 weeks? Try doing a speed-test at speedtest.net.

Also, are you using wireless or wired broadband?

Yeah there are quite a few weapon bugs out there, most of the other ones are bad ones though. This is basically the only good one though.

Such as:
* M249 SAW with a Grip has improved Hip Accuracy (Between Assault and SMG hip accuracies).
* AK47's damage is 40-20 when equipped with a Silencer or Red Dot.
* AK-74u when equipped with a Silencer or Red Dot has the hip accuracy of the assault rifles.
*Remington 700, when sighted, has an ADSIdleAmount of 60 in which it moves around more compared to the other four sniper rifles (40).
*G3 with a Silencer has an erroneously long Melee Charge Delay, longer than the stabbing animation, so the lock-on melee attack does not work.

Yea I used to like the M40 for easy precise kills, but it usually takes more than 1 shot, which is why most people turn to the godly .50 Cal to do the job.

I usually get 1 shot kills as long as I hit in center mass but there will always be times you hit someone and it doesn't kill them, maybe you're just really unlucky :O

Great inforamtion. You should make something like this a sticky. All the bugs, damage points, etc....
