    I know Cracked just posted this, but it was something I had been thinking of long before: why do we have summer vacation?

    Students get dumber over the summer. Students forget things over the summer. And when they get back, 2 months of the school year is put toward re-teaching the kids what they learned last year. Nearly half of the year is wasted, not to mention it is biased towards people who love summer. Here is what I would do: 4 days school, 3 days off, 3 days school, 4 days off, and so on until they are finished school. It flows and it fits and kids still get half the year to stay home without forgetting everything. Humanity becomes smarter, faster.

    Also: THE IMPERIAL SYSTEM. Worthless piece of shit!

    There is also a huge economic incentive in having kids be out of school in the summer.

    Also, since there seems to be a common theme here about no one giving a fuck about what I post, I'm just gonna start treating this like my own personal blog, something I've pretty much already been doing.
