Sniper question

I have a question regarding sniping.

I'm trying out using a sniper load out. I've got the AS50 and have got to level 22, so I've just unlocked variable zoom scope. I'm asking the experts out there what is the best load out? I know a lot of it is personal preference, but I want to try everything. I'm unsure about Focus or Impact? Whether to can the variable scope and keep extended mag? I've got sleight of hand pro, Quickdraw pro and Marksman pro. Are these the best perks. I also run specialist strike package.
Anyway, anything will help.

Sniper rifle extended mags
mp9 extended mags
semtex or frag depending on the map
Flashes
Sleight of hand
Quickdraw
Marksmen (steady aim can be used if you are able to quickscope)
UAV, Ballistic Vests, AUAV (or have a Specialist setup as Hardline, Marksmen/ Steady Aim, Scavenger)
Hollow Points or Revenge

Any sniper rifle you want. Pick "Speed" because you can move even faster.
MP9 with extended mags. Akimbo FMG9 is better overall but the MP9 can act as an SMG which will come useful if you do not have ammo, you want to change places or when you see an enemy at close range and you do not know how to quickscope.

If you quickscope, C4/semtex/frag and if you snipe normally, use anything you want.
A T.I or a flashbang.

Now comes the tricky part, do you plan on quick scoping or normal sniping?

For Quickscoping:
Slight of hand
Quickdraw
Steady Aim

For sniping:
Blind eye
Quickdraw/Assassin
Marksman

I'm looking to quick scope, but I need more practice in that area. At the moment I only quick scope when I'm in the shit.
That video clip was very helpful! Thanks mate. I never shoot from the prone, so might drop quickly into prone when in a decent position, but I do like getting amongst it. Unless I play against a well drilled team my sniping is improving.

I don't know if it's too late, but

Primary: AS50/MSR - Arguably, in my opinion, the best sniper rifles. Each have their own strengths but overall I find these the most...Successful. They can be used for traditional AND quickscoping.


Secondary: Like others have said, MP9/FMG9, DE if you're feeling a bit BA, RPG for a sacrifice, Stinger to take down air support.
Your Lethal slot: Claymore, gotta have your back covered.

Your Tactical slot: Portable Radar, never hurts to see who's in your vicinity.

Perk 1: Blind Eye, gotta keep safe from Air-support.
Perk 1 Alternative: Scavenger, so you can have a considerable amount fo ammunition.

Perk 2: Assassin, logic man. Logic.

Perk 3: Marksman, so you can see further down the road.


A quickscoping alternative:

Primary: AS50/MSR
Secondary: FMG9 Akimbo
Lethal: C4/Frag/Semtex/Throwing Knife
Tactical: Flashbang/Stungrenade
Perk 1: Scavenger, more ammo = more killing
Perk 1 alternative: Sleight of hand , for quick reloading
Perk 2: Quickdraw, well for obvious reasons
Perk 3: Stalker, for following and avoiding any nasty traps

Strike Package for the traditional:
Support: your call on which ones, preferably: UAV, ADV UAV, EMP
Strike Package for QS:
Assault: Your call, I don't use Assault much so I can't say what'd be good.
Specialist: Well, if you're killing might as well get EVERYTHING available.

Don't put a variable zoom on an AS50. That ruins the fun...

Your actually suggesting portable radar, assassin, fmgs, and claymore...wow. Just use blind eye QuickDraw and whatever you prefer. Then throwing knife or grenades.

Tactical: Tactical insertion or portable radar
Perk 1: Sleight of hand( to change to your secondary fast when enemies are near you)
Perk 2: quickdraw ( to aim faster)
Perk 3:Marksmen
Strike package: your choice i usually run specialist
Death streak: hollow points or juiced

When I'm sniping I use use a pistol for close quarters, I recommend that as a secondary.

Do not try to be so high and mighty, grab an Akimbo and join usssssss!

Fuck it, grab an MP9, it beats the Akimbo in every way other other than close range. Even there it is pretty much powerful. Can I ask something? Why a pistol?
