CD Key gone

Ok, so this problem has been annoying people for quite a while, but mine is a lil` bit different. So me and my friend were playing cod the other day when I came across a weird problem. There was a "key code in use error" so I searched the net and reentered my "new" key code. I restarted my cod and enered the usual server I play in. And BAM - I am level 1 with nothing ........ I searched the net and found out about the MPDATA file and how it corrupts, and the sh*t about how its bound to key code. I found a solution on how to fix this, but there is a MAJOR problem. My old mpdata was bound to the key code that I deleted and now I cant find it anywhere. The regedit and everything doesnt show a sh*t... Please help me find the solution cause I want my old level and achievements back. BTW I even tried to enter the corrupted MPDATA file, to see my key (no luck) but I heard it might be there.

When you reset your key, it reset your mpdata file... Start again.

On the consoles they call it prestiging. On PC we call it a bloody nuisance/waste of time/pain in the ass. I've already done it once, why the smeg would I want to rinse and repeat the process 9 more times?

You see, i have the corrupted mpdata (with the old data and the cdkey), so maybe is there some way to restore it to its original state or even enter it and find out what it "hides"

The mpdata is encrypted using the CD key as a "password". You can't use or decrypt it without the key it was originally created with.

Changed key to get rid of key code in use??? what you using a cracked version of the game or something??
