Amazing job man, perfect amount of editing IMO. Not giving me seizures, but enough to make stuff flow. The credits were awesome as well and like I said on your channel, that last clip was so perfect lol.
Youngblood, you're looking a bit pale? Maybe you're running a fever? Just to be safe, you should probably call in sick today. While you're at home, recovering, you might as well hop on YouTube for ten minutes and... LMAO
Koolaid, thanks! I select the music and then arrange the clips purely on "feel," that is, whether it feels like it goes together well and gets me pumped up while watching. Also, while I know that many of the clips weren't spectacular and/or involved a certain amount of luck, I'm nevertheless excited about having been able to pull off some of those shots/sequences It shows me that I continue to improve as a player, and considering what horrible hand-eye coordination I once had, that makes me happy and makes me want to do even better.
One of my favorite sequences is the MW3 one starting at around 3:53. I know that whether or not a kill feed is split is more a matter of luck than anything else, and I've always found it a bit amusing when people argue about unsplit quad feeds in the comments section of other montages. Thinking about that and realizing I had an unsplit feed of not four or five people but of seven made me giggle.
Also, it's funny that this started off as an idea for a BF3 LMG montage and then a separate montage of CoD stuff. I initially called it CoD Salad, but I wasn't happy with the quality of the clips from BO and MW3 Theater Mode on Xbox, so I shelved the idea for a little while. Over time, it grew into something where I wanted to combine my BF3 footage with CoD footage off PC.
As for the music, I worried the second main track "Covering Fire" might be too "screamy," but I didn't like any of the alternatives that I was considering. For example, in many ways, "War is my Shepherd" by Exodus is even more screamy, though at least looking through Exodus material helped me find the banjo track for the credits LOL
Me likey all those kills! Damn nice job, Triple
Music is very fitting and goes well with video. Not some punk ass Techno. Editing was good because I can see the ****ing kills without being blinded.
EDIT: Ending was funny, BTW.

I also like this montage because it is a perfect example of my playing style. I almost always play like in the clips. Obviously, I don't get results like in the clips anywhere near as often, because I guess you could call it high risk/high reward, and sometimes it even makes for extremely horrible scores LOL But any time I try to play a little more conservatively, do a better job of checking corners, and so forth, it goes well for a short while, and then I can't help but to revert back to this style.
