    Best Sniping Techniques..

Now I'm not talking about locations, I'm talking about perks, and things like that, that give you the best sniping edge.

    1. Hold your breath
    2. Aim for the head

If you arent that good at htting targets on the run, I would suggest trying to use "Iron Lungs". This perk really helped me out when trying to hit targets that are on the run.

I assume you're not being sarcastic... iron lungs is a perk that you gain once you reach a high rank. Iron lungs allows you to hold your breath longer while sniping. This perk is in the perk 3 spot, and is well worth it.

On a sidenote. I think that UAV jammer can be quite useful especially in hardcore. Other then that, Claymores are great to let you know someone's coming and to kill that approaching person. In regular stopping power can be great to make sure you get that one shot one kill.

A perk that lets you hold your breath a long time...useless perk if you ask me. You should have taken the shot or moved on by the time you release your breath. When I first started playing COD4, and I was the total camper, it helped a lot for sitting in one spot for a long time. As you get to play the game longer you realize that the mobile sniper works out the best because people look for snipers in certain parts of the maps all the time.

Stopping power. 1 shot kill 93% of the time if its not in the head. Got it on all my sniper classes.
And like sum1 else mentioned.....claymores. But make sure not to set them in the obvious spots. When people look for snipers, most of the time they're assuming theres claymores. And most of the time they look to certain spots for those claymores.

ok heres a good spot...well if ppl dont look at you. its in one of the most obviouse spots on overgrown.... go into the middle creek place thingy through the hole in the wall and on the lowest level across to the left into the brush. ppl are retarded they didnt see me snipinging em all on hardcoreas they run by.............and a techique to do is shoot in front of em when they are running;the perks i use are just claymore stopping power and deep impact... works well for me
if you couldnt follow what i was saying jus dont worry about it or say anything

your set-up should depend upon your map. If you are on backlot, strike etc then claymores are essential (perk 1), stopping power (takes care of juggernauters lol!, perk 2) and iron lungs (perk 3).

For maps like overgrown a keen eye and a good team help! my set-up would be bandolier as perk 1, overkill as perk 2 and iron lungs as perk 3.

    Thanks goes to Syndrome X!
