Can't say I really like the sound of it either. They're taking one too many pages from the COD playbook.

Either way, if people want to pay extra cash for dogtags and camo that doesn't work anyway (it is a video game) let em. I'll gladly sit on the sidelines for this one.

It better not be a throwing or ballistic knife though. The last thing we need is a cheesy gimmick OHK weapon.

I'm okay if they make it anything that doesn't impact gameplay. Hell, I'd even be ok with a throwing knife assuming it was more realistic than COD. Triple bounce off of walls into my toe and I'm dead? Nope. The knife isn't running a parkour course...

I would really like to sit in the meetings at EA/DICE and ask why would you add crap people don't need but you make the M26 DART the easiest weapon to use and guess what it's a one shot kill. Not to mention the whole "Rent a server" was a huge and terrible bad idea... Who in the future see's hacks happening to BF3?

I for one am not going for special camo's for guns or anything else that fanboyz may want. I want a better play experience instead of a playing hiding in a glitched wall wit the M26 DART thinking they are so cool cause they can camp using recon and a shotgun.

One time fee for all the expansions? Can't really argue with that

Theres 4 more expansions coming out i believe.

    CQ
    AK
    EG
    And one more for 2013

    Thats about $60 (Can / US ~roughly)

I bet they are going to make it around $45 (reduce price of 1 expansion) to provide an incentive for people to buy it. That's surely a money saver in the end. Plus, for someone like me who's buying all of em anyways, more power to me

    Hopefully

Expect it to be $45 to $60. Probably $60 as they are claiming to add in several "exclusive" items.

Had BF3's last patch been FIXED like it should have been, I would have bought in even though CQC DLC (I hate calling it CQ, because CQ is also conquest which is the opposite of those..... Combat Shoeboxes) was a write off, but ffs, at this rate I may not end up playing until August at the earliest with that seemingly free unannounced "Bonus content".

45 is not too bad. We're talking about 5 expansion packs. And hopefully each one of them are worth the cost. I won't buy if 60.
