PP90M1 vs MP7

If you want to earn my respect use a weapon that's not as OP and overused like the two weapons mentioned in this thread..

Seriously, calling an MP7 or a pp90 OP??? How about all the guys running around with frigging striker w/ range?? Akimbo FMG's? 2 months ago everyone was bitching about the UMP being OP... God, I can't keep up with the community OP rage of the day.. Next thing we're going to complain about knives...Actually, I did hear that in an infected lobby!

The MP7? I would not call it overpowered, really do not know what to call it. Here are some things I have noticed about it though.

• It is effective at any range.
• It is like a laser and has very little to no recoil at any range.
• The suppressor has what seems no effect on range.
• At prestige 3 level 74 the number one weapon I see used is the MP7
• It dominates the game, with 9 out of 10 full party games of KC having no less than 8 players using it.

Overpowered, it certainly does not have any damage rating over any other weapons however it has a lot of other advantages over all other weapons. About the only other weapon that has more advantage than it is the akimbo FMG9's.

I can be doing terrible in a game and I can pick up an MP7 from the ground and essentially start destroying. Not a one time occurrence but every single time I pick one up. That plus the fact that so many people use it tells me there is something wrong with it. That moan and "Wow, Akimbo FMG9's" people think when they die from well FMG9's because it takes no skill to use them is exactly how I feel about the MP7. Where the Akimbo FMG9 takes no skill using the MP7 starts off right above the akimbo FMG9's.

You also mention the striker. I may not use range but I use damage with what is essentially a weapon that has one range and that is room clearance range. It does nothing for you at distance and in an extremely close up situation it is almost useless. It also takes a certain finesse to use a shotgun any shotgun because you have to consider timing, reload time and distance. Not to mention if you get interrupted in the middle of reloading you have to know how long you have.

The SMG in this game have essentially made the AR's useless. Sure I can get a good game every so often with an AR but for the most part the weapons people use force me to resort to the striker. I would like to use different guns in the game. I would love to be able to use the pp90, the MP5 even a pistol. What it comes down to is people using class setups that make them virtually so fast that using anything other than an MP7 or Akimbo FMG9's yourself is useless. I do not like the MP7 and I do not like the akimbo FMG9's so I am left with one choice the Striker. You might call it over powered or say it takes no skill but at least it is a "takes no skill weapon" at one range and not all ranges.

me neither. and i don't use t95's or akimbo fmg's primarily or camp. i use other guns just as a challenge to myself. not to prove anything to anybody online. i could care less.

I can't lie - I will give you the SMG over all AR's - I probably have a combined 50 Kills with A/Rs and well over 8k with SMG's - most being UMP with a PP90 and P90 being close 2 and 3 - I used the MP7 before I prestiged and went gold with it, but haven't used it at all this prestige - pretty much went gold with all the SMG's, save for the MP5 and the PM-9 - just never cared for either to be honest, although I can see the appeal of the PM-9 with RF... Right now I am having a torrid love affair with the PP90... again..


I personally hate shotty's although I have been known to dabble with the striker and SPAS - to me all shottys are OP and prevalent on most maps, therefore justify the use of MP7/PP90 w/range/rf.... Sort of an equalizer.. Plus, I usually can pick up a random shotty w/damage and join the fray once I've used up my SMAW, my secondary of choice

That must be a console thing then because the reason I use the striker in the first place is because of Akimbo FMG9 and MP7 spam. Out of all of the weapons in the game save hand guns shotguns are the least OP. They really only have one use and that is as a CQB weapon. Any SMG can get you a kill from across the map and it should not be that way. FMG9 and the other machine pistols pretty much have a slightly less range than SMG. If anything shotguns need to be buffed.

Seriously, people need to stop making excuses and just get better at the game. Yeah, a few weapons are easier to use than others, but they still all kill pretty fast. Ive been against plenty of noobs who were using fg9s and they aren't hard to kill because they don't think about tactics when they play the game. They don't flank, don't use sight lines or maneuver around the map.

I get it, the fg9s are really effective close range. But after awhile I wonder why people get so bent out of shape about it. If you don't want to use them, don't. If you do, go ahead. Bitching about people using them and trying to use it as an insult is pathetic. A real player just sees an obstacle to overcome and gets better to beat their opponents, not complain about it on the internet.

Its the equivalent of people saying "if you don't play like me than your a pussy". Well forget all of that, Its a game and i'm going to play it however I damn well please. I'm not going to ask you if my class setup is ok with you, because I shouldn't have to. And for the record, I don't use fg9s, but if i wanted to i definitely would use them.

I have to agree with this. This is how think when I play MW3. Tactics beats the best guns.
