Adding sound tracks seemed easier in Vegas, however, so I rendered the text in AE (the computer I had the demo on at the time couldn't handle lossless rendering, so I did it with compression, but because it was just text, you couldn't really tell the difference) and then imported the animation into Vegas and added the sound effects and a bit of music. Extremely simple and probably along the lines of a programmer learning to write his first "Hello world" but I thought it was kinda neat for something I had never done before.
