Guys! Try again asap i was 'banned' when i wrote my previous post but tried again just now and it works fine! I deleted game and save data before trying again last night that failed but logged in today and its back to normal. This did not look like an official ban i reckon official ban would give us some sort of message not just a yes and no so my guess is some one skilled at these hacks managed to create this block. In any case ima take this as a warning and avoid hacked lobbies like the plauge lol if u get sucked into one leave it asap it aint. worth risking this again. Cod4 working again i swear i aint making it up add me: i_f_ck_ur_mother yes that is my real tag

Checked on this website and couldnt find me on it - http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-overview-cod4-ov27.html. Thanks for the info codaddict87 i'll try when i get home the nite and if it works i'll add you to me mate list. Btw how do you know if your in a hacked lobby? (sorry if i am coming across as a bit of a noob!!)

You won't really know until the match starts. Some will have "CL" as their Clan tag to indicate this.

I've deleted both the Game and Save datas, still the same thing

Don't mention it pal im assuming if i was banned im now lifted but i haven't checked the lifted list. Hopefully that's the last of it still working fine

FOUND THIS HOPE IT HELPS U GUYS LET ME KNOW PLZ:

hey i have bypassed this problm you just need to disconnect from the internet to open cod 4 as usual it should work then when you are past the start up reconnect to the internet and you are fine to play on.... if you are having troubles disconecting and then reconecting then heres how USING WIRELESS: you must unplug your router go on Cod 4 waitfor the startup to pass then plug your router back in. USING WIRED (ethernet) unplug the ethernet cable from the back of the Ps3 then wait fo the startup to pass then plug it back in.
