Kicked it up to 500 kills, as I do with every weapon, and i always thought I was using a secondary...I think if they had turned down the RoF a bit, they actually would have made this a secondary.

Never though about it that way...it could've been a secondary. Hell, if they made it a secondary now I don't think it would threaten the balance of the game.

I've gotten gold on the pm-9 before and its basically best used with rapid fire and extended mags. Rapid fire will make your hipfire even better, and blows even shotguns away at close range because its a constant barrage of fire. You can actually hit some pretty long hipfire shots because of how fast it shoots.

I've def played the pm-9 mostly hip firing, but it never dawned on me to play it exactly like a shotgun. I just golded the usas, ksg, and model so I will definitely have to try this out!

Yea I like this weapon. It does have the least amount of kills out of any of my SMGs but I still have over 1,000 kills with it.

I completely agree, this thing is purely for hipfire. Great for the likes of dropzone.

As for melee, ehhhh, I'm using melee on my p90 at the moment trying to get the 300 stabs with it and I really don't find it to be of any use. I always manage to knife people in one go and if not then I either shot them or I have to turn around making the quick knife thing pointless.
I'd say range, flinch or kick would be better with IMO flinch coming out on top slightly.

These series things are good, you make a good effort with them. Good footage, good editing, good sound very clear and easy to understand.

I'll try it out later when I have time, but how about PM9 with Rapid Fire & Silencer if you're really just sticking to CQB anyway? Unlike shotguns, limiting 1HK's isn't a problem and the RoF with RF should still kill fast enough right?

Yeah but you go around only hip firing with rapidfire and your ammo is gone. Kill 3 people and you're dry. That's why you need ext Mag's.

Yeah I tried it out. Would have to probably run Specialist to have SoH and Scavenger

I usually run it with scavenger pro and use specialist and hardline so my first pointstreak is sleight of hand. Basically as soon as i kill someone, I can reload fast immediately and continue owning. With this setup, you dont really need exmags but it still makes it much stronger than a pm-9 without it. Also, it has the least range of the smgs, so you don't want to gimp it even further with a silencer.
