Default Can your Computer Run CoD4?

Sticky this thread! Can you run it? Is a great program, it is safe.. and I have used it forever.

Try a couple different games you are interested in.. then you will have an idea of where you need MORE POWER!!

Upgrading any rig is genius.. This 10+ yrs old, big @ss generic ATX case, has nothing but the power button and the dead 3.5 drive left from the original (Piece-O-S...) build.
4 CPUs, 5 HHDs, 6 PSUs, 8 GPUs, and a dozen MoBos later, I am still happy with it.

You always want to upgrade/buy in a direction that allows for room to improve that latter, when those parts are even cheaper.

    ............

Although, With RAM, Size does matter. It is one area where you can never have too much.. Windows doesnt really use it all, but its like a back up generator, Vista is up to 8 (?or was it 16 depending on MoBo?) and Xp will use close to 4GB( I KNOW, it only uses 3.2ish)... and 1GB sticks are sooooo cheap now.
If you have too, get bigger sticks.. 2gb/4gb sticks if you dont have the space on your board.. the load times are WORTH IT!!

You should start a thread on your problem.. add which patch you are running.. and you have a sound card? mic? was mic plugged in when you installed? Were you able to play single player? does it crash? .. more info needed
