Well, I installed Cod2 today for another playthrough, and happened to run into a odd issue.
It appears that in Single Player my health fails to regenerate once I get to my last hit.
I get to the point where I am breathing heavily, but the red aura doesn't appear, and the message telling me to get into cover. Just the breathing, then if I am hit again I die, but the breathing never goes away, it just stays until I die or finish the level.

I have heard it is because the game is incompatible with dual core cpus (I have a "AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+" at 1.40 GHz). So I tried setting the affinity to Zero through task manager while the game was running, with no luck. I then tried updating to v1.2, and that didnt work. And seeing as those where the only two solutions I could find, I am now forced to do what I always do, complain to a forum for help! So here I am.

Have any of you had this issue? If so, what did you do to solve it?

Oh, and if this changes anything, I am running Windows 7 64-Bit, because that is usually the issue when things don't work.
