    Default TurtleBeaches broken AGAIN?!

After about 4 months of using my PX21's the right ear went out. I sent them in (took about 2 months) and just got my new pair. I open them up, plug them in and no sound in the right ear. I try a few different games and movies, no sound. I plug them into my iPod and computer, no sound. This is extremely ridiculous, im losing my patience with this company. Now I have to fill out a whole appeal again, sent this headset in, and wait until they send me another. Terrible customer service.....

after buying a corsair headset for my PC, i discovered that PX21s are flimsy pieces of crap. seriously they feel like a brittle plastic toy that could break at any second.

Turtle Beaches are pretty cheap as headphones/headsets go, you really can't expect a lot of longevity out of them. That being said I paid £30 (about $50) for my X11s around a year ago and they still work perfectly.

Make sure you kick up a huge fuss when you call them up again and express how pissed off you are. The same thing happened to me a few years ago with my XBOX. It red ringed so I sent it off for repair, it took a month until I got it back and then red ringed again within 24 hours of them returning it to me. I called Microsoft and shouted down the phone a bit and they had it repaired within a week and gave me 3 months free xbox live gold membership. Win.

Brand new on Amzon they're £50. You could probably find them cheaper if you shopped around.

i dont know if they are compatible with PS3 or XBOX but check these out

    http://www.corsair.com/audio/gaming-...g-headset.html

its the same thing i have except its got a USB connector instead of a speaker jack. these things are better than my old PX21s in every way. they run about $70 and when you wear them it feels like youve got a pair of luscious double D's wrapped around your head.

I got PX21s for my Birthday last year and they're still working perfectly (except for the clip on the back of the sound thing snapped off) to this date - despite my less than gentle handling of them

    this annoys me hugely.

    REASON
since febuary when i decided to buy my first pair of TBs, PX21s, i have had 3 pairs. 1st ones were sat on by a friend and the ear cup snapped. 2nd set i took them off my head, the ear cup snapped, 3rd set the wiring that makes the sound come out of the cups came loose and i lost all sound and faith with this ****ty company.

i took my last pair back and got a new headset that was half the price but does its job, even if it is slightly worse in the sound quality department.

i am now looking to invest in either some trittons with an amp or come astro a40s because im done paying mid range prices for ****ty range quality.

Gotta go with Astros. They are expensive. Around $250. But they are well worth it.
