This shotgun is a beast on Nuketown and Summit. Just started using SPAS-12, got a 3+ k/d ratio rushing on Nuketown TDM twice. Awesome.

the spas-12 is terrible in my opinion. i find the iron sights horrible, that it has bad range and gets way too many hitmarkers.
the stakeout is the only really good shotgun, with the classified one being of somewhat acceptable quality.

the SPAS by itself is worse than the stakeout. however, throw a silencer on it and it becomes beast.

at least with the SPAS, i can follow up with a second and third shot without having to pump the action.

I can't stand shotguns. If they range is going to be bad, then atleast buff them up in close quarters. Spas is the best though.

Once you get past the initial "OMGTHISGUNBEPWNSAUCE" phase, it just turns out to be pretty mediocre.

I've used all the shotguns, and the Olympia and Spas are usually the ones I play the best with.

Stakeout-terrible ROF and ****load of hitmarkers.
Spas-Beast, really high fire rate and kills fast.
Olympia, BOOM BOOM DEAD, OHNOES I DIED WHILE RELOADING
HS-10, high ROF, but low damage.

Am I alone on believing shotguns are epic in BO? I have not one, but two shotgun classes and find them both to be some of my best classes ( unless I'm playing hardcore of course ). Only two problems I ever have is that SA Pro is mandatory and the HS-10 should never be used without Duel Wield, though both of those are very obvious. Fyi here are my shotgun classes:

Stakeout w/ Grip
Python w/ ACOG
Semtex
Concussion
Tac Insertion
LW Pro
SA Pro
Marathon Pro

SPAS-12 w/ Supressor
Crossbow
Tomahawk
Decoy
Jammer
Ghost Pro
SA Pro
Hacker Pro

I can consistently do well with both these classes, so either they're underrated or I'm just awesome ( I highly doubt the latter ).

Off Topic: Hacker Pro + Jammer = Happy Hour. See something hackable with Hacker, place Jammer to disable it, and either rush the owner or hack it ( or do both! XD )

No son you are not.

Slap a silencer on the Spas and you have one of the best guns in this game. 2v1's become cake, even 3v1's become cake. Just pft pft pft and watch the bodies fly.

Got two classes myself just for the silenced spas. A Lightweight/SA/Hacker(sometimes swap out for marathon) class and a Ghost/SA/Hacker class. Both with frag/concussion/tac insert.

The SPAS is alright, but the olympia is better with OHKs.

however... getting caught reloading is such a pain in the ass.
