How to fix 1 bar problem on MP?

The NAT is open but same problem. When I stared the game was full green but now low again.

Does it mostly happen at night games? Or a specific time?

I think most the time, because I played on the early morning around 7 am and also 4 after noon

i have this same problem and its driving me crazy it happens all the time and started to happen when i started taking it back and forth to my friends house we have the same exact routers both nat types open, scan internet settings when getting there / going home, i also downloaded both packs of modern warfare two maps it started happening soon after but not right away also bought a new router after this started happening it didn't use to happen i just feel like i wasted my money if i cant play online router is a linksys wrt120n pleassssseeee help meee!

Maybe its because the people around you as in family or neighbors are using bandwidth intensive programs on their devices. This means that your conection will either go down really low or crap out all together.

think you need to forward your ports to your ps3 dude,

heres a tut by syn and scrub its quite good. think im going to try it to get from moderate to open nat on my home router.

I think you'd change your internet service provider if this problem is consistent.. Sometimes everyone has 1 red bar but if the host is too far away from the player, like overseas distance.. Get a better connection if you care and like this game

ROFL. My connection sucks and it's roughly 10x better than this. Switch service providers or ask whoever's raping the living the crap out of your connection to stop.
