FPS issue

Ok, i have my comp running COD4 at 1680x1080 resolution with water, mode, details normal and all textures at low. with this i have a excelent fps, but my problem is that when i play idk why but its so aggravating to see the weapon textures so low, they run well at normal and on high but i really want them to run at extra, while my game runs at a good 45fps with it at extra its still annoying to have my fps bellow 60. I noticed that the weapon textures aren't the only things that get upped on that setting but also things like the grass etc.. so, is there any way to have my weapons at extra texture quality without having other textures qualities being increased so i can finally have my pretty weapon with out a low fps. to anyone who can help me solve this THANK YOU!! =)
