NAT type magicly changed

as the title says my NAT type was at open for about 2 years now and now when playin MW2 it says its strict ad when searching for a game it look for 50 finds none then says looking for x NO of players

i can only play when joining session and is very annoying

Do you have a router in sequence or is the Xbox hooked straight from the modem?

My Nat was constantly changing from Open to Moderate between games or from logging on/off. Resetting the router (not power cycling, actually holding the reset 15 seconds) and running a Network test would keep it Open for another week or so until it decided to swap again. The last time it went to Strict and I had to reset and reconfigure the router again. Port Forwarding did nothing.
