cold blood perk = overpowered ?

i play hardcore all the time and once cold blood is unlocked 99% of people use this perk , me included , its mw2 equivellent to cod 4 Uav .
so why is it overpowered ? why does it carry so much strength ?
these are my reasons because this perk cancels out so much of the games potential
ok here goes , all in the following list are cancelled out while you use cold blood
UAVS,SENTRY GUNS ,PERDATOR MISSILES ,COPTERS, HARRIERS , GUNNER COPTER , AC 130 , heart beat sensors , thermal scope ? ,
i think that covers it but i know i might have missed a few more possibilities,
so look at all the above 9 extra additions to the new game which have been made useless when you carry cold blood , i mean in cod 4 when you use UAV all that happened was when the enemy put up a uav you were invisible , it worked fine but the copters could still kill you .
but in mw2 you can quite happy go about your buisiness without worry of being shot from above or running into sentrys or comming accross someone with a thermal scope attached. i never attempt to shoot down enemy aircraft whats the point ? not many people do , not nearly half as much as you would playing cod 4 ,
so what im getting at here is cold blood should only cancel out EMEMY UAVS
not air threats or any thing else , i know this would make the game harder but so thats how i feel , thoughts ??

It doesn't cancel out the HBS. And in CoD4 of course it didn't cancel out thremal or sentry because there was none of that.
IMO it's balanced, if your using it you don't have that extra damage or you need one more kill for that killstreak or you run slower. Plus in HC if everyone is using it then it's balanced.

It's a very powerful perk, no doubt.

I think regular Cold-blooded should be not showing up during UAV and Cold-Blooded pro should be immunity to sentries etc.

It'd encourage more people to shoot down air support.

It's just unfortunate that you only play Hardcore, so the only real alternative to Stopping Power is Cold-Blooded.

correct me if im wrong but what cancels out the HBS , i was always under the impression cold blood cancelled i out .

i dont think it overpowered because you can still use some of the killstreaks + attachments e.g thermal and predator you can still see them just not to their potential. plus its a way to counter all of that when your team gets killed over and over and over and over again by that chopper gunner or ac130. btw it dosent affect heartbeat sensors.
