hey guys, wanted your opinion on whether you will party up with friends or go solo?
i will probably try to go with a party. try to get accustom to maps together, etc.

If they're on I'll see but whenever I play with fiends I suck big-time connection-wise so that might not be the best introduction to the game lol....unless it's a private lobby.

yeah but still, its good to play with a few friends, right. and it might be crappy for some people.

Maybe they'll have these super-dooper servers which make everything play really smoothly. And they've been putting all their efforts into setting them up and that's why COD4 servers are disintegrating... I can hope

that probably why cod4 servers have been crappy lately i just hope they make severs in mw2 good enough to have good connection with everyone.

I've never been a member of a clan and I have never played online with anyone with a predetermined time or server. I have only gone into a match on my own desire to play at a time of my own choosing. I have encountered players who I have played with previously and we acknowledge each other when that situation arrises. Like; Hey Split how's it going? Welcome back, let's kick some ass. I make my gaming friends and maintain those relationships through these boards. I guess I kind of back door the way way most of you people do this. I'm a PCer and do have an Xfire account, but have never gone through it to locate matches or people to play with. Acctually, my Xfire affilation was started when I was doing the Halflife series. Valve and Steam stuff. I suppose I should update all that crap. I haven't even accessed xfire for more than a year. I have my favorite clan servers and mods listed and approach it from that direction. This new Iw setup for MW2 is going to make me readjust my customary approach and I'm not too happy about it.

I think as soon as I get it I'll do a few solo runs in each map, get a feel for the new home so to speak. Once up and running though I want to be with my team, in a new environment you need people you can rely on to watch each others backs.

i don't have any friends *cries*. anyway im quite a solo kind of guy. played with Claude a little but thats about it.
