guys i am new at cod4. i was following the helpful guide..but when i got a little problem... when i was checking my port it said to choose between tcp and udp i do not know what to choose..infact when i choose tcp it says could not connect to portforward.com servers and when i choose udp it says your port is not open or not reachable

please help everything else is fine because i followed the well layed out guide

Trying to setup a server with this guide. My desktop shortcut properties, I made this my target:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg +set net_port 28930 +map mp_crash +set net_ip 65.24.30.251 +set sv_punkbuster 1

And in this folder I have my server config file:

Well having all this, I have also opened ports on my router for this game, and also opened the ports in Windows Advanced Security (Firewall). So my ports should be open.

I run the server, and then run the multiplayer game on the same machine, and I can't find my game, which I have saved in favorites: 65.24.30.251:28930
I tried this port because I read somewhere in the threads using 28930 instead of 28960 could help make it available on the internet. I also tried hosting this cracked server on epcgaming and testing it with their Test Button, but no luck there either. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

it's both, TCP and UDP for incoming and outgoing ports that need to be open.

Hy, I have been searching for aunsers to my problem all over the web but I have found nothing. I have set up my own CoD4 MW dedicated server but I can't enable PunkBuster on it, I have installed it, it is enabled from the server.cfg but it just wont run when I start the server. I tried to start it from the server console with the command 'pb_sv_enable' but it gives me this message ( PunkBuster Server: This edition of PunkBuster Server cannot be enabled while the game server is running. ) Please help me and sorry for my bad english...
