    Default Changing the Speaker Configuration?

How do I change the Speaker Configuration in WaW? I want to change it from Stereo to Mono so I can tell the direction of a sound. I could change this in CoD4 but not in WaW. So how do I do this.

I am using a Logitech USB headset.

You cannot change your speaker config ingame you must do it in the logitech software or in windows the game will play sound at whatever your system is set up for and if you do it right it sound great through good headsets.
A tip turn the music and voice ingame down and you will still hear people creeping around near you

You DON'T want mono. If you change it to mono you won't get any directional sound. Mono means one; you only get one sound channel. All sound will be played through all speakers at equal levels. Stereo is 2 channel, and gives you left and right directional sound.

What I think you may mean; If your headset is a 5.1/7.1 headset, then you want surround sound, if it's a stereo headset, you want to enable virtual surround. Depending on your sound device this can be done different ways. If you're using realtek onboard or a creative (sound blaster) card, then you can change this setting in the devices audio control panel. For other devices you can probably do the same, but I'm not sure as I've only ever used realtek and creative audio devices.

I have Realtek onboard audio but it won't pick up my USB headset.

Your headset is most likely the same as mine it has its own biult in sound device and you dont need anything else other than the software that came with it install the software and configure the headset in there

If that doesnt do it get a usb to jack plug adaptor and use the realtek software
