Frequent problems joining public servers with players in the

Whenever I try to join a game it takes about 5-10 tries to finally get into a server with other people playing in them. Sometimes I don't find any games at all with people in them. When I find a game and I'm the only player in the server, it says waiting for other players, but nobody ever joins.

Anyone knows wtf is going on?

I am having this problem also. I have had the game for several months and until the past few days have had almost no problems connecting to the server and getting in the action. Now, however, it is nearly impossible to get into an online game. Tonight I have succeeded in joining 1 game in the span of 4 hours. There must be a problem with the servers...I have yet to find any explanation. How aggravating!!! :x

I played the ps3 version a few days ago and it only took a minute or two to find a game

This is for people who are stuck at "Downloading game settings" and can't play online thanks to the 1.10 "Anti-Connectivity" patch.
I just tested it twice and it seems to be working!
Log into COD4 online like you normally do, Then hit find game, it will try to bring up the playlist and Display "Downloading Game settings" forever.... Untill now!
While this retarded IW admitted fake error is displaying, UNPLUG YOUR ROUTER!, now wait for COD4 to boot you and give you an error. Then plug in your router and let it start up, hit ok on the COD4 error and you will either autoconnect to PSN or have to press ok, youll be back to cod4, Try to go online, and For me I get past the downloading game settings!
Tested twice now and works!

Turning off UPnP in your ROUTER/MODEM will also work!!

Lol it just takes time unless you have a wierd internet... some internet connections dont connect to others which is wierd.
