k so i am making my avatar and it is 150 by 125 pixels and when i go to put it as my avatar, it says that it is not a valid image... help plz

if you havent, go to tinypic or somthin and upload it, then get the link and paste to ur edit avatar thing

well i made it on photoshop and i am just browsing for it... and whin i click continue it just says unvalid image

so you have it saved to your computer? if so go to Tinypic.com, then upload it, then get the link for layouts, go to edit avatar, and simply paste it

find the button that says browse, then find the image in your computer files, and click open. then click upload

ok
i tried to go to tiny pic and upload it and this is what it sayd when i tried to upload it.
"Upload Failed! An error occurred while uploading the file"

yay i finally found out wahat was wrong....
i forgot that the file had to be a jpeg..... it was saved as a psd

Sorry, I did not see ur posts sooner. I would hav told u, that u prolly need to change the file format ur saving it in. Just to let u know. If u ever create an image in photoshop that has a transparent background, save it as a .png. That is an acceptable file format, and it keeps the bg transparent.....where as jpg will automatically fill it white. Just a tip.

Also, if you save in Photoshop click Save for Web instead of Save As. You can make the quality just that little bit better.

hhmmmm....im not sure about that. The save for web feature is predicated for use in saving individual images to compose an entire website. In other words....its more for creating a website. Png is pretty much the standard for graphics on the internet. And the quality is also how u make it look. If u make it sharp and not use over stretched images, u can have great quality.
Just sum more tips.
