Apparently there's a new patch on PS3...does anyone know what changed?

Supposedly just the PS3 VOIP fix and nothing else.

No patch on PC, though servers are offline I guess for maintenance, which means they are probably being updated server side in prep for a client side patch. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Ah, gotcha.

Heard while playing there was supposed to be a patch coming this month that would set a bunch of stuff straight. Just a rumor now, but heard the frag rounds were getting the boot. Honestly I hope so, those things are still a plague on PSN

Good thing about playing on PC, a lot of the servers ban frag rounds or even shotties :p

...which surprises me, because it's supposedly against the agreement with EA to limit weapon types.

I don't see an issue with shotties in general, just the frag rounds. Of course, I only use the 870MCS, and quite rarely.

Tell that to the people operating pistol and knife only, or no recon servers lol... You're completely right: when we were hosting a BC2 server it came to our attention that it was against the EULA to remove vehicles/weapons/classes etc. However you could apply a limit to how many people used them (I think we limited it to 2 recon per team to discourage bushwookies).
