My apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I've searched the best I can and came up with nothing.

I recently setup a dedicated linux server running with custom maps. I'm running off the stock Modwarfare mod.

The one thing I can't figure out / understand, is how the classing system of weapons works with the mod. When I load the modwarfare mod the classes are locked and at one time could be unlocked by ranking, but when I play a custom map from within the game, I can select any weapon and any attachment I want.

Also, all the sudden now, I no longer go up in ranking which I'm attributing to the mod and now the server not being ranked.

My goal is to be able to set my custom classes with all weapons unlocked, so I don't have to choose my favorite weapons and perks each time I login to a custom map to play.

Any guidance is much appreciated!

Custom classes are generally not available in mods. A couple have added them back in I think in their scripts and menu work. But mostly modwarfare is just a way to allow custom maps and turning off the perks/weapons that you dont want.

You might want to take a look at the Open Warfare and X4 mods. OW is a great framework for tweaking the game while X4 has alot of new additions to it.
