Today is the anniversary of the deaths of two very inspiring musicians
Dimebag Darrell Abbott and John Lennon
Dimebag was shot while performing with Damage Plan and Lennon was shot in the back while heading to his apartment in New York City

Ok is that really neccessary to tramp or however you want to call it on people that were and still are inspirational and just good hearted people when they were murdered?
And how are they overrated that is fact and not opinion?

Sorry, I got maybe a bit dry in my comment. The fact they got murdered is very sad, as it is for anyone who is murdered. My point was that these 2 people got "god like" status only after they got murdered (well for Lennon he went from God like to this entity you cannot say anything bad about him), like Kurt Cobain when he commit suicide. And this is something that irritates me.
Do we mourn each year the death of Les Paul (who had a much more direct impact on the world of music as these 3 combined)? No, because he died at 94 and it isn't sad enough for people to care...

This makes no sense whatsoever, making a comparison to Les Paul who lived a full life to these 2 is absurd . Lennon and Dimebag were gunned down in their prime.
