I know the games only been out for a few days but I'm already finding play styles I like.

I have to say I feel liberated with Stopping Power gone. I feel like I can finally do what I want not worry about being on the ass end of a firefight because I needed 1 more bullet to kill.

So far my favorite is

Designated Marksman:

M14 w/grip and Reflex Sight

Ghost
Slight of Hand (hoping to get it to pro)
Tactical Mask (Still trying to decide my third)

The M14 now genuinely feels useful. SMG's at close range can still out DPS me if my Aim isn't good but thats what I get. I love picking off people at medium range with it.

These two classes are excellent for killing campers, just dispose of the claymores and take your triple kill. 2 bullets at close range with the Scorpion and a 30 bullet clip allows for some ownage. I would never go without Slight of Hand for a shotgun either, it is 100% vital to it's sucess.

I don't find marathon to be very useful in this game, particularly over something like hacker that saves you from campers, random claymores and sentry guns, or second chance which saves your life in general. Marathon would get me killed more unless coupled with steady aim pro's faster ADS after sprint.

I mix a few SMG and AR loadouts with different attachments, and I have one anti-air class in reserve, hardline pro, SoH pro and hacker on everything baby :P

I'll experiment a bit more later in the game, but after the first day of experimenting I found those the best loadouts for me

Pretty nice class for my playstyle. I play defensively but at the same time I wanna be in the action. So SoH lets me reload faster and aim down faster. Hardline lets me get the streaks faster and ninja pro will let me hear enemies sneaking up.

Being able to reroll all/any of the crates, w/ Hardline Pro's odds included, means with a 5-killstreak you get basically 4 chances to get a good killstreak, taking in the odds it's basically impossible to not get a 7 or better KS w/ 4 chances (1 for the original CP, 3 for the three re-rolls).

Very abusive.

Last time I played, last weekend I think, I ran the whole night with my L96A1 w/ Variable Scope.
I like to think of it as my Intervention or my M40A3, just not as QuickScopey..
With some lovely Ghost/Lightweight, Steady Aim, and Marathon/Hacker with a Tomahawk, Concussion Grenades, Claymore and was switching between the Crossbow and the Ballistic Knives.

The lobby I stayed in felt like we needed to play Nuketown EVERY time..
Didn't want to leave though because it would have been ages to get in another full lobby..

That's as of now, at 1st Prestige Level 27. I switch up the assault rifles as I level up, get all of the perks pro, and replace the LAW with the Strela, but the basic setup remains the same.

It's my all-around class. I can evade or destroy most killstreaks, locate campers, avoid claymores, and be stealthy in general. At the same time, I can still go in guns blazing when I need to.

This is pretty similar to what I'm doing for my 3rd prestige, although I'm doing hacker right now over marathon. I did Steady Aim last prestige, but I don't think SA is as strong in BO as it was before plus SoH helps with picking weapons up off the ground too. just rush with this class i use it like an smg just if i find myself in across the map situations i can win more often:)

All of my classes have the same setup. The only thing that changes is my main weapon.

perks: Scav pro, SoH pro, Marathon pro.

weapons: changes a lot but AFAIR, AUG, Specter, Stoner 63 and the last one
is for testing new stuff.
