Hardcore... why?

i just thought i'd see how many off us like hardcore. i personally don't like it as it's full of sprayers but i occasionally play it to see if it's just because i'm not used to it. what about you.

Hardcore TDM can be awesome, but it depends who your playing against. Whenever I play ther eis always a BUNCH of campers with P90's, Carbines, etc and there isn't the cushion to fall back so to speak if you get shot by one because it's pretty much an instant kill. In non-hardcore I'll be able to run and recover to mount a second attack...I prefer HC SnD even though there are lots of campers that is acceptable when you are defedining.

Hardcore makes you react differently, you dont survive a few shots on this mode so you have to have better cover.

i played it for the first time today and i really enjoyed but i got sick of getting killed by people on my team and it was a stupid little kid with a mic i felt like getting him back but then i thought why effect my score does any else get this done to them

I think that it definitely alters your gaming style.

In Hardcore - you tend to play way more conservatively in fear of campers and getting sprayed.

Then when you go back to regular deathmatch, you bring this timidity with you and then you get slaughtered.

You have to pick one and stick with it in order to stay sharp.

I played it for the first time today SnD and TD both. I had a blast. But it definitely depends on who you play against and with. The group of guys I play with all talk to each other and we act as a team so it helps.

I play it prob more than anything now. def takes alot more skill. Campers are really annoyin tho. Not as annoyin as some people who fire a rocket into all there own team mates at the start of the level wiping nearly every1 out. And then doin it AGAIN!!! AGGGHHH

i love hardcore. The first time i played hardcore i sucked. Then i got into the habbit of rushing. Now i am a full rusher. I just grab my Silenced MP5 with Xcondition and rush. I get more kills this way then camping.

Hardcore does inflict more fear in a person, but this is good. Don't run from it. This will make you better. It sure as hell helped me. I am not braggin or anything but i am able to smoke most ppl i play now. For example, my new found rushing skills made me want to do some cage matches. I have raped most ppl i played against, but there are a few... 4 people who have raped me. As i said before, i am not bragging. Then last night, i played on Ground War, it was that new map with the TV station. I managed to get 51 kills and 11 deaths just by rushing with an MP5. I belive that my reaction time has gone up tons. i play it alot now, only coz in normal modes if u hav a sniper without stopping power it is practically impossible to get a one shot kill (unless u get a perfect headshot which i dont always) and hardcore lets u use overkill with a sniper and always get a one shot kill even if its in the foot (lol)!

Hardcore search and destroy is awesome. If you are a noob dont even show up cause you will get frustrated dying so quickly. Hardcore is cool because it is very realistic. If you are not used to Hardcore then you really don't play it so you wouldnt know if it is full of sprayers etc.... Every mode is full of sprayers with p90's mp5, only difference here is that if they shoot you once you are DEAD!

I just have to point it out that Regular games have more sprayers my friend. As in hardcore it takes less amount of shots to kill the other player wich is just like reality. but the regular dethmatch come on now, i get sprayed with RPDs, stopping power, and deep penatration thru the god damn containers on bog and the walls on bog.. Its bogus but yeah. I like hardcore

I hate hardcore mode and I seriously wish they introduce a filtering option for hardcore servers soon.
What makes me avoid HC games is that I like to have my current ammo displayed (Once I actually ran around only to find out my gun had like 2 bullets left when I encountered an enemy) as well as grenade warnings. Plus IMO it makes shotguns and sniper rifles virtually obsolete since any assault rifle kill can with 1 or 2 shots.
I actually prefer sniping in normal mode. My Barret can still smash people instantly with a bullet to the chest (without stopping power).
