I think my game has been hacked ?

Hey Guys I need some help I was playing MWF 2 on my pc I have went threw all my normal levels and started prest level I was a Level 35 and went to join a friend I join him and was playing then all of the sudden steam told me a cheat was detected and i go to my profile and i have everything and iam a level 70 prest Iam freaking out WHAT SHOULD I DO? and has anybody ever heard of this.:confused:

Yes, this happened to me on a FFA match. Joined the game and my first kill put me straight to 70. I think this can only happen if the host is running some hack. I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Steam didn't detect a cheat when it happened to me though

Its happened to alot of players go take alook at the IW forums, but the best of it was the other day a player was on there raging about how he had been given lvl 70 for 1 kill and he wanted to be put back to lvl 30ish, when a guy came in and said dont worry we will take you back to lvl 1 with the next hack low and behold 2 days later there where a few raging about how they lost there ranks after joining a game and being demoted to lvl 1 when they shot someone.

Its basically a few Peed off pc players showing IW/Activision and the rest of the PC players that blindly believed everything IW said about how great and secure the game was, too be total BS, the hackers gave warnings to the PC community and IW weeks before the game was released and they have carried out everything they promised since its release

I feel for the guys that knew nothing about it all and bought the game on the great reputation of COD 4 only to find there are more problems with MW2 than i have ever seen in any game

That could be the 177 patch causeing the siezing

Everytime they have fixed the game it broke some place else

now its having trouble connecting to server out 10 of my last attempts to play 3 were successful

same thing happened to me, that's why i joined the forum here to check things out. I bought the game over the weekend and was promoted to 70 after 4 kills, went into prestige mode because I could, then got promoted to 70 again.

As of now i'm prestige 2 rank 13 after one weekend of play. It's unfortunate that this is happening because this game would be awesome without the hacks. you know what else? If Activision had the sense to implement dedicated servers hackers could be banned and people who really want to enjoy the game honestly don't have to worry about aimbot and all that bs.

too many hacks, no dedicated servers, I'm going back to Day of Defeat: Source until they get their act together.

No mate i dont and it looks like i wont be playing any IW titles in the years to come either :D:D:D
