Follow MacTavish. You will have to walk along a narrow ledge. You will then have to climb up an ice wall. Use the left and right triggers to work your ice axes.
Well this is where I'm stuck i assume I'm suppose to use left and right track ball buttons to use ice axe to climb i just about made it up to top once. I do right hand, left hand, right left and so on but at some point it simply stops and I'm hanging on one tool and fall back down. Am i missing something about the technique

Thats what I did and it went all the way up. Im not sure what key you use to jump with but I was also hitting that when I was near the top.

Well this has gotten to be real annoying. I cant make it up the damn ice. the axe fails to swing at various points up the damn thing the jump key is no help.

Alternate the buttons;
Left (hold)
Right (let go of left)
Right (hold)
Left (let go of right)
And so on

Make sure you don't release one button until your other axe has been planted. I don't know if that helps because I didn't fall--though when you jump I dropped a bit before slamming the axe in

About halfway up you miss your grip, when it doesn't swing you need to quickly press and hold the button again :)

Well i got myself a Razer mouse and climbed that ice with no problem. Wonder why the logitech Trackman marble wouldn't do it. Buttons function fine otherwise.

Hi Hawkeye. I also am a trackball user. While I didn't have a problem with the Wall. My left and right buttons soon gave out while I was playing the multiplayer game. Instead of a light tap I needed to pound each button to get a response. I replaced the trackball with a newer model and have not had a problem.
