I got my copy of MW2 yesterday on the 6/11/09, i had pre-ordered it through ASDA UK has any one else got there copy as i thought it wasnt supposed to be out until the 10th?

It was the best day of the year!

The oonly down side for me is that my broadband connection is down until the 12th so i caant play multiplayer......at least this way im forced to do the campaign

You should be happy about that.
The leader boards will be reset on the 10th so your rank would be reset too.

Got mine yesterday from HMV, anyone having trouble getting online? searching for a game yesterday for over 20 mins. found 1 of 25 and then couldnt even connect! what a pain! Cant be due to numbers can it?

It's because of the postal strike, happened with another game that i ordered, they figured they'd get all the pre ordered stuff that's been sitting in there stores for a few weeks and make customers happy. I'm assuming this only aplies to England who had the postal strike.

Same thing to me, at my friends house trying to play online, it took around like 10-15 minutes to find a freaking game. BUT when inside the game, it felt like no delay at all.
